A "being"结构置于句末，累赘，别扭且没有必要。可以用 同位语 或 定语从句取代。
   In England放在句首，充当另一个状语，与"introduced by..."形成对主语 life insurance的两重修饰，似乎不好。

B  between...with属于 unidiomatic的用法。
   had remained改变原句时态。In England问题同上。

C  “Until...”状语提前，主句确不以倒装形式出现，错误。“Until"与"Introduced by"构成双重修饰，似乎不好。

直接找逗号后面的第一个词看是不是逻辑主语,可以去掉A,B,C

根据BETWEEN ...AND... 固定搭配,去掉E

这题应该选D 我的做法是：

看到逗号前面，直接找逻辑主语，看了一下貌似都是life insurance，但是我记得GWD上也有这样的例子，gmac偏好简洁明了，前面已经状语了，最好开门见山，所以我在D和E中选择。E当中between   with是一个常见的错误搭配，所以选D

如果不放心再看看其他选项：

A being放在那边，也没有看出句子有什么特殊需要，所以罗嗦，不对

B，又是一个between with 排除

C 改动太大，我做的时候不确定是不是需要倒装，看了2楼的解释，才知道原来需要倒装。
