答案是D。这个题目完全没有头绪。我只能派出B，during recent times好像没见过。C啰嗦。其他都不知道了。请各问指点。

我理解，原文是想说因纽特人在不久之前还过着游牧生活，住冰屋。。。

但是D好像把原文的主干变丛属，从属便主干了。

确实看见recently就联想到have v-ed的形式。而且据我们历史课讲，确实那些inuits现在还是过着他们以前的那种生活。

我同意楼上的观点：

A表示：到最近为止，I是游牧式的（以后不是了）

D表示：直到现在I还过着游牧式的生活。

不过我也不是很确定，听听大家的意见。

A中until recently 说的是，inuit people以前是过游牧式的生活的，但是现在之后就不是了。

D.    Up until recently, the Inuit people, leading a nomadic existence,

have sheltered. D中说的是，他们直到现在还在过着游牧式的生活。

我对此题的思路不太相同，说说看吧，但是我确实做出答案了。。。

我开始也是读一遍了解大意是直到最近I这类人特殊生存方式庇护在冰块房子在北加拿大啥的而且结构上由石头等组成。

然后我看选项，首先我看“直到最近”5个选项说法都不一样，且又没有大毛病，所以直接不管这，看核心。

而后发现末端shelter,根据意思我认为shelter没有被动的动作发出者，所以直接排除被动态的C,E。

而后B里出现了前后不一致时代不一致的错误。lead直接排除。

剩下A和D，我真的不觉得A和D有啥大问题了，但最后还是有理由证明D比A好，因为A的sheltering前的逗号，会产生歧义，shelter动作发出者是people还是existence不明确，可能你觉得这样说可笑，人和生存当然是人发出动作，抽象的名词怎么可能，但是...只能说那是我们的中国式思维，但国外人简单的思维方式绝对不会允许这样的问题出现。所以选D，也没确认D有多好，但D比其他靠谱......

我觉得找致命的错误会比较好吧，欢迎拍砖......
