From the explanations of ETS, E might be the right answer. But I think
that D is right too or is even better than E.  In the first
paragraphy, the author mentioned that "All of the cells in a particular
plant start out with the same complement of genes, how can
they............". Fom my point of view, it is the oligoshchair that
differentiates the structures of roots, leaves........... . So D cannot
be evaluated as a wrong answer.
