Hey there!  If the school has specifically told you NOT to submit

anything, then of course you need to do what they request.  If you do

not follow their directions, they will think that you are bad at

listening.  And that is bad!  But if they haven’t told you that,

then YES you can send a LOR.  Schools however would rather NOT hear

from your academic advisors—you should have your business partner

send a rec—especially if this person is older than you, more

experienced, etc.  You do not want a peer rec, and ideally you also

do not want a teacher either.  Other than those two catagories, you

should be in good shape.  Give it a shot!  Just don’t do anything

that the adcom asked you NOT to do…

Hey there—you know, this year I haven’t read the Yale Wait List

letter.  But I know for sure that Wharton is VERY clear in their

wording—do NOT send any additional info.  If they are that clear,

then we do need to follow directions.   Following directions is the

key—no new materials, in the case of Wharton, means exactly that…
