actually many top bschools provide 1 year MBA program,like INSEAD. Queen's MBA doesnot focus on s & t, the reason why its program is called MBAST is that it recruits students from technology industry, and because of that, the school assumes that the students' competency in math could let them complete MBA in shorter duration. other reasons to compact the study time are that it omits internship and winter/summer break. so it is definitely the top MBA program in canada.
