It's not about getting your questions answered. It's about networking. I found it super helpful since I was introduced to almost 10 students/alumni/staff members after attending a coffee chat. Good opportunity to practice networking skills.

Online session is a different story. If it doesn't cost you much, then don't expect to get much value out of it. Buy a flight ticket, prepare a few days, and meet with the team in person, if possible to you. This is my advice.
