要看清楚it would make more sense to do sth than it would to do sth 结构, 不要被中间的when the current resident move out迷惑, 它只是一个句子插入成分.这是我的第二题, 想了挺久的.

I think the answer is 3. 4 and 5 are ambiguous because they change “more”
search + for something
search sth 和 search for sth都对。
C错在search for紧跟在reasons之后会使人误认为reasons是searching for的主语。
D中and前后不平行。
除非其他含search的选项都错，才可选in search of.
