Data sufficiency

Malik's recipe for 4 servings of a certain dish requires 1.5 cups of pasta. According to this recipe, what is the number of cups of pasta that Malik will use the next time he prepare this dish?

(1) The next time he prepares this dish, Malik will make half as many servings as he did the last time he parepares the dish.

(2) Malik used 6 cups of pasta the last time he prepared this dish.

答案是（1）（2）合起来是sufficient。

我不明白，serving和dish是什么关系？题中给的第一句话有什么用？

呵呵，这道题碰巧我也做到了，我的理解是做四人份的一种鱼需要1.5CUPS的PASTA吧。给你的是条件啊。他的问题是下一次这个人要做这种鱼的话需要多少的CUPS的PASTA。

只有一和二两个条件才能推出来了。因为第一个条件告诉了你下次和上一次的关系，而（2）说明了上一次的情况，只有两个结合起来才知道啊！

请问是不是没有题目的第一句话，有（1）和（2）也能知道结果？

根据菜谱，做4份菜需要1.5杯的意大利面，下次再作这个菜的时候要多少意大利面？

1. 下次做菜的时候，mailk 作的份数是上次的一半

2. mailk 上次做菜用6杯意大利面
