"It is difficult for people to achieve professional success without sacrificing important aspects of a fulfilling personal life."
argument 15
The following appeared as a part of an advertisement for Adams, who is seeking reelection as governor.
"Re-elect Adams, and you will be voting for proven leadership in improving the state's economy. Over the past year alone, seventy percent of the state's workers have had increases in their wages, five thousand new jobs have been created, and six corporations have located their headquarters here. Most of the respondents in a recent poll said they believed that the economy is likely to continue to improve if Adams is reelected. Adams's opponent, Zebulon, would lead our state in the wrong direction, because Zebulon disagrees with many of Adams's economic policies."作者: apan 时间: 2003-4-2 13:40

"It is difficult for people to achieve professional success without sacrificing important aspects of a fulfilling personal life."
I agree with the above expressed view of point, because ample evidence supports it.
1. One can not make an omelette without breaking an egg.
2. Today's professionals are facing huge competition than ever before,
a situation that entails great efforts.
3. It is no denying the existence of prodigy who achieve greatness
without sacrificing other aspects of his life, most ordinary people fail in some area while achieving career advancement.

Argument 15.
This argument is unconvicing for three reasons.
1. This political editorial assumes that Adam's leadership is the cause of the
economic booming.
2. No information provided to explain how the recent poll was carried out,
rendering its' result unreliable.
3. It is a weak reasoning to conclude that Zebulon would lead the state in
the wrong direction simply because he disagrees with many of Adam's
economic policies.
