· 历史
新加坡国立大学是新加坡历史最悠久且最赋声望的大学，国大的前身可以追溯到1905年设立的英皇爱德华七世医学院和1927年设立的莱佛士学院。这两所学院于1949年合并为马来亚大学，并在1962年改名为新加坡大学。1980年8月，新加坡大学和1956年成立的南洋大学正式合并成立新加坡国立大学。

· 院所

它位于靠近海岸的肯特岗，校园面积约150公顷。国大目前设有9个学院，共50多个系科，培养全面发展并具有渊博学识的本科毕业生。国大也设有7个研究生院，提供高水准的研究生课程。除此以外，国大也设有多个国家级和校级研究院和研究中心，从事研究开发工作。 9个学院和7个研究生院是：文学与社会科学院，测绘、建筑及地产学院，商业行政学院，法学院，理学院，工程学院，医学院，牙医学院，电脑学院，文学与社会科学研究院，商科研究院，理科研究院，工程研究院，建筑环境研究院，医学研究院，牙医研究院，师资和学生。国大拥有超过2400人的高素质教学与科研队伍，其中包括88名教授和525个副教授。超过一半的师资人员拥有博士学校。国大目前本科生超过19200人，而研究生则超过7900人。

· 学制与学费

不同专业所采用的学制也不尽相同，其中文学与社会科学专业的普通学位只需2到3年，而医学专业则需5年。文学与社会科学、理科（普通学位） 2到3年, 文学与社会科学、理科（荣誉学位） 3到4年, 建筑与地产（荣誉学位） 3年半到4年, 电脑 3到4年, 牙医 4年, 工程 4年, 法律 4年,医学 5年, 研究生, 硕士学位 1到3年, 博士学位 2到5年. 国大的学费，将从今年7月新学年开始分三年全面调升。本科生的学费从每年5500新元到15450新元不等，每年调升150元，依所选的课程而定。学生可申请高达学费80%和偿还期20年的学费贷款，就读期间贷款不计利息。研究生的每年研究费介于2500新元到3150新元，而以修课为主的研究生每年学费介于3600新元到12000新元。从2001年7月其分三年调升，每年调升350元。执行级商业行政硕士学位（MBA）一律收总课程费36000新元。外国学生比本地学生多缴付10%的学费。

· 学期

每个新学年开始于每年七月的第二个星期一，到下一年的四月结束。每个学年分为两个学期，第一学期从七月到十一月，为期18周，在9月时放假1周。第二学期从元月到四月，为期17周，在2月时放假1周。另外在年底的学校假期中，有一个为期6到8周的特别学期，方便学生选修附加课程。

· 录取标准

国立大学本科一般招收本国学生，国大的本科生录取标准是依据申请者的剑桥"A"水准考试成绩以及性向测试和面试情况。但对于确有才能又品学兼优的外国学生，各个大学都会敞开大门欢迎的。外国申请者则需提供与"A"水准考试相当的其所在国考试的成绩。目前受认可的考试成绩包括国际中学毕业考试和英国、香港、马来西亚、及毛里求斯的"A"水准考试成绩。这些政府学院都有相当多的外国学生，也包括中国学生就读。学生毕业后，政府都欢迎他们留在新加坡工作。为了鼓励有才华的外国学生来新加坡求学和工作，政府在南洋理工学院等实行学费补贴计划，凡是和政府签订协议毕业后留在新加坡工作三年的外国学生，政府给予的学费补贴都将超过百分之八十。国大研究生的申请资格则要求申请者已修得相关专业的至少二级荣誉学士学位。

Above 600.
但是我打电话过去问，她又告诉我是 above 680。
