1。从划线后的部分：and so were probably 可推出本题的主语是 Neaderthals 而不是 C D E 三选项中的声带 tract

2. A 与 B 选项比较：

A 选项的 those(复数) 与 a vocal tract （单数）不如 B 选项中 an ape's（单数）与 a vocal tract （单数）匹配
