If the square root of the product of three distinct positive integers is equal to the largest of the three numbers, what is the product of the two smaller numbers?

(1) The largest number is 12.

(2) The average (arithmetic mean) of the three numbers is 20/3

我认为选A,错在哪里?

a+b+c=20
bc=a
=>a 肯定是个偶数。因为3个数中必定有一个偶数。
=》b、c也都是偶数
=》a的值只能是18、16、14、12、10、8、6、4、2
其中由于three distinct positive integers ，所以2、4肯定不是，
又由于b、c都是偶数，所以18、14、10、6 不是
剩下16、12、8
由于3个数字相加=20，其中16太大（16+2*8）；8太小（8+2*4），剩下12
因此，a=12，b、c分别是2、6，他们的积就是12

因为只可能有一种可能对于(2) 那就是当 X=12,Y=6,Z=2时,假设X>Y>Z>0

我觉得题目中的(1)已经给你很好的提示了,现场考试时如果按照TONGXUN的思路考虑时间上来得及吗,我是直接根据(1)的提示推算的.请TONGXUN指教

你的方法也许是比较好的。
我写的罗嗦而已，但在纸上演算，也就1-2分钟。（将数字列出来，一一划掉即可）
