106.  The university's constitution defines the powers of  two governing bodies.  The general council, which currently retains authority over constitutional matters, consists of all the university's living alumni.  The twenty-member senate decides routine matters by majority vote.  A new proposal suggests making a unanimous vote in the senate sufficient to change the constitution.

If the statements above are true, which of the following must follow on the basis of them?

A The proposal will take effect only if it receives the senate's unanimous support.
B Currently each member of the senate has power of veto over any proposal that comes before that body.
C Adopting the proposal would allow passage of constitutional changes without the general council's approval.
D Any of the university's alumni can fill any one of the twenty seats on the senate.
E Adopting the new proposal would increase the voice of the alumni in the conduct of university affairs.

so many question needed answering, thanks in advanced. most of the cr questions above come from GRE. i hope we can share them together and get your precious help.

我觉得最后一句话,new proposal suggests making a unanimous vote....
The twenty-member senate decides routine matters by majority vote. 使得increase the voice of the alumni in the conduct of university affairs.

我忽略了最后一句:sufficient to change the constitution.

C,A new proposal suggests making a unanimous vote in the senate is sufficient(已经充分) to change the constitution.
这和“使得increase the voice of the alumni in the conduct of university affairs.”

我认为此题答案应该为“ Adopting the proposal would allow passage of constitutional changes”.
without the general council's approval.
If the city council institutes new parking regulations, city revenues will surely increase, since studies have conclusively shown that, if such parking regulations are put into effect, there is an increase in parking violations, and an increase in parking violations will result in a greater number of parking fines collected.
64. If the statements in the passage are true, which one of the following must also be true?
(A) Unless there is an increase in the number of parking violations in the city, city revenues will not increase.
(B) If the city council institutes new parking regulations, the council will fall from favor with the citizens.
(C) The city council will institute new parking regulations only if an increase in city revenues can be expected to result.
(D) If the city council's new regulations cause more parking violators to be ticketed, the city revenues will increase.
(E) Unless the city institutes a complex system of parking regulations, the city cannot expect traffic violations to increase.

答案是D,但偶认为D不好,原因为题目中根本没有提到过violator,并且D的IF从句也是文章中没有提到的,文章只是说an increase in parking violations will result in a greater number of parking fines collected. 而increase in parking violation并不等于more parking violators(violator完全可以不增加而只是次数增加啊)。
