什么样的学校比较有把握的。如果gpa一般。工作经历是一般公司的分公司经理？

660 is not low. it should be a 90% percentile.
why shameful? the other 90 percent go suiciding?

some of them go to HBS rather than suicide

top 20都可以。

You can try top 20, but your other background must be outstanding, including ur essays and interviews. Top20-30 seems to like high GMAT score...

Anyway, your preparation except hardwares is very important.

no way in top 20-30 because you are competing with Chinese applicants. trust me, last year I was dinged by top 30 with 650 gmat and very strong background and reference. there is a cut-off score that is, I guess, at least 20 more than the average score of the students which the school claims on its website..

680才是90%，如果只是一般公司的分公司经理的话，申请TOP20是很困难的。但如果包装材料好的话，40-50应该是有希望的。

今年wharton收了一个580的。

那说说他的背景？一定非常强，应该是至少工作10年以上，外加国际知名公司的经理。
iowa以前招了个370分的。但那人有23年工作经验，且是一知名投资公司的资深经理。
我一个朋友3年前申请（GMAT700, 3年IBM的工作经验），也没有考入TOP20.
今年一个740的，国内一私人小公司的高级经理（4年），也只拿到Emory的录取。
国内无名公司的工作经验价值并不高的。
不如用心写好Essay。
