technicians equally receive defective products from a box containing 88 defective products, if the number of the rest of defective products in the box less 2 than the number of technicians, then the following cannot be the number of technicians?

5 12 16 9 18 My ans: 12

[确认]12正确就是除法的题。

给一表，a b两班给出median score 和mean score
问a+b的median是否大于mean？
A) a＋b＝79
B) a＝42 b＝38

???谁帮我解释一下解法,非常谢谢

是不是说剩下的比the number of technicians少2？？
ab+a-2=88==>a(1+b)=90,可是我觉得16也不对呀？？？

第二题这样的题目出现过好多次了，每次都不一样，挺烦的，所以要视具体题目考虑
