其中this most bland and circumspect of men我很不理解,adj+of men???

还有一个写作的细节问题,请问正式文体在逗号和句号后面是否需要空一格?我在word中打的时候不空会出红线.

133、我看了五个选项，没有in呀。
spend sth(on sth)用（钱）；花（钱）
spend sth(on sth/in doing sth)1、花（时间等）；2、用完，耗尽（某物）；3、消磨时间

139、有adj+of n.的表达方式的

word里面的红线打印时是没的呀

打印时候当然没有红线,自动纠错有红线,所以我不知道考试时要不要逗号和句号后面空格

我觉得这个句子省略on会更规范,你也可以把defending 理解成一个动名词，但一般应用spends ...defending

OG 139
adj+of men的用法是不对的，但如果是this/that/the的指示代词+adj(or 最高级）的用法是对的，表示这一类的人，句中的MEN是泛指，所以用复数。

老题中还有一个be spent doing
所以似乎对ets来说 spend st doing/on doing/in doing 都可以
错误中得来的…
