Regarding to GPA,

the least flexible school in Canada: Rotman..I contact with admisson officer serveral time, trying to know if it is possible to consider my application if my GPA of the last year is a bit lower than its minimal requirement( 75%)..they told me frankly that it is impossible.. so if you really want to go to Rotman with poor GPA in the last year, the only thing you can do is take a one year course in college or university and get a good GPA to proove your academic ability. Though rotman's minimal requirement of GPA in the last year is 75%, most people have to get 85%... 80-85 is fine if you have high GMAT and strong working experience...

Mcgill, I don't contact this school because most of my friends told me this school is as crazy about high GPA as Rotman....

Queen is flexible in GPA...I contact this school and they told me that it is fine if my GPA of last two year is a little bit lower than its minimal requirement(75% in the last two year)...But I need high GMAT and strong working experience to compensate for that...As I know, Queen require that every part of GMAT not be lower than 60%

Ivey is very flexible in GPA as well...As long as you GPA (the last two year)is higher than 70%, you still have chance...but this year most applicants' GPAs are higher than 75%..therefore, to compesate for low GPA, you need to have high GMATand, most importantly, strong working experience( had better international working experience)...The interview is a vital part of the application for Ivey...It is very difficult to get offer with GPA lower than 70%( GPA of the last two years)...but you still have chance if you have very very strong working experience...

York, is not so flexible in GPA...they have a minimal requirement of 75% in the last two years...I was declined by York very quickly after I submitted my application since my GPA does not meet its minimal requirement...they even did not give my chance of interview..I have to contact the admission officer and make an appoitment to argue with them...

In summary, low GPAs do put applicants at disadvantage..they need to put more efforts to get the offer...But they still have chance as long as you show they advantages..so don't give up, for the people with low GPAs...In most time, you still can control your future..
