我理解的Fact 1中的the rate of acceptance 和Fact 2中的The overall rate of acceptance 可以用如下例子：

the rate of acceptance：

catagory 1:   10/20             1/2

catagory 2:    20/60            1/3

只举2个。

The overall rate of acceptance：

Domestic:  10+20/20+60+2+3=6/17

Foreign: 1+1/20+60+2+3=2/85

说明了选项B是正确的吧。请给我看看对不对。

数量多不意味着通过的几率就大，如果都是垃圾片，数量再多也不会有多少会通过

E某种程度上是对FACT2的改写

FACT1是句废话，一视同仁是一句废话，意思就是只要片子好，大家都有机会通过panel

Look at :

then look at:  

 B) Significantly more domestic films than foreign films were submitted to the festival

It is obviously impossible to get B right when you consider that in every catergory they both have the same rate as claimed by Fact 1. If B is changed to the opposite: Less domestic films than foreign films were submitted to the festival.  Then B can be right.

This problem is just a matter of manipulating the numbers.

your example was not right b/c your acceptance rates are different in both catergories.

Look at the example below:

      Domestic: 1:   8/80            9/90         30/300

Foreign:   2:   2/20            1/10         70/700

Do the math yourself , you will see the difference.
