根据我的理解介词短语一般要紧跟在被修饰的词后面,否则只要前面有其他的名词就可能产生歧义。譬如OG中那个关于世界最大的历史博物馆那题。可是这题答案D介词ETS怎么不怕产生western hemisphere 在一个桥上的歧义呢?
个人认为如果要把d理解成“over a bridge of land that once existed ”是western Hemisphere的定语的话,一定要加which was,否则哪里有这么长的,还套定语从句的定语啊。
所以我觉得这个地方d是不可能产生歧义的
