本人进入business sector之前，已经服役8年之久。现在工作2年多，业绩突出。

请问部队经历会对我的申请有多大影响？

应该不会。只不过8年兵役有点长啊。

It won't hurt your application if you can treat properly. Instead, the military experience will help distinguish you from others for some unqiue qualities you acquire as a soldier and officer.
