finished in nth place, where 1 ≤ n ≤ 5.

这个意思就是说这项比赛只有前5名才得分，前5名的分是 5、4、3、2、1，其余得0分,那三个队的总计得分应该是5+4+3+2+1＝15，

又说no team earned more than 6 points，令另两个队都得最高分6，

那最少的就是15-12＝3
