The Wharton MBA blog has just announced the 2016-2017  Wharton essay topics and deadlines for applicants targeting the Class of 2019. The application will be released in early August.

Wharton MBA applicants for the 2016-2017 admissions season will respond to two required 400-500-word essays. The first essay question remains unchanged from the previous year. However, the Wharton adcom has added an additional mandatory essay.

Essay 1 (Required): What do you hope to gain both personally and professionally from the Wharton MBA? (500 words)

Essay 2 (Required): Teamwork is at the core of the Wharton MBA experience with each student contributing unique elements to our collaborative culture. How will you contribute to the Wharton community? (400 words)

Round 1: September 27, 2016

Round 2: January 5, 2017

Round 3: March 28, 2017

To be considered for a round, applicants must submit their application by 5:00PM Eastern Time on the day of the deadline.
