这题我是这样理解的，在中层底部发现城市被摧毁以后年代的陶器，而底层没有，说明中层不太可能代表摧毁之前的情况。但A提供了他因，说明中层有以后年代的陶器但还有可能是代表摧毁前的情况的，因此削弱了文章中证据的说服力。
