对于这个答案，没有问题，只是不知道为什么since可以直接接sb啊，是有省略什么吗？
看到mahattan论坛上是这样解释的：
I think the implication is that Robert Boyle's work and discoveries were so significant that there was an era associated with his work that is known and obvious.

还是不大理解，如果是这样的话，那还有其他选项的following sb，after sb, from sb forward是否正确呢？？

since after都有介词的词性的我觉得这三个词都可以接名词，意思都是在robert这个人之后，大致就是这个人很厉害在他之后就没有新的发现而davy在他之后发表了新的东西

这个不是重点吧
