结论说，1930的老建筑比现在的结实。
a 加强
b 无关
c 工匠1930年前后水平一样，无关
d 高质量的建筑才不倒。所以质量不高的老建筑都没了。减弱。

不是因为之前的那些质量好而能够保存下来，而是因为幸存下来的质量好.

argument说的是：以前的木匠工人worked with more skill, care, and effort than 现在的木匠工人，这是以前建筑优于现在的原因。但是，以前的建筑也有质量很差的，并不都是很好的。如果差的倒掉了，消失了，那么就只剩下质量好的了。从这一点来看，并不能体现出木匠工人的差异！
