Q13:

In the United States, of the people who moved from one state to another when they retired, the percentage who retired to LACE w:st="on">FloridaLACE> has decreased by three percentage points over the past ten years. Since many local businesses in LACE w:st="on">FloridaLACE> cater to retirees, this decline is likely to have a noticeably negative economic effect on these businesses.

Which of the following, if true, most seriously weakens the argument?

  1. LACE w:st="on">FloridaLACE> attracts more people who move from one state to another when they retire than does any other state.
  2. The number of people who move out of LACE w:st="on">FloridaLACE> to accept employment in other states has increased over the past ten years.
  3. There are far more local businesses in LACE w:st="on">FloridaLACE> that cater to tourists than there are local businesses that cater to retirees.
  4. The total number of people who retired and moved to another state for their retirement has increased significantly over the past ten years.
  5. The number of people who left Florida when they retired to live in another state was greater last year than it was ten years ago.

The Key is D. Why??? My answer is C.

c肯定是无关的啊,题目说退休人员,c说的是游客.

我觉得这是不是数学题,总退休的人数增加,f的比例下降,但是,去f的人数不一定下降,所以就削弱.

绝对量与百分比

In the United States, of the people who moved from one state to another when they retired, the percentage who retired to Florida has decreased by three percentage points over the past ten years.
=>
In the United States, the percentage who retired to Florida (of the people who moved from one state to another when they retired) has decreased by three percentage points over the past ten years.
说的就是F的retire进入占全国的比例下降了
D提出绝对量上升
