(A) Like Rousseau, Tolstoi rebelled
(B) Like Rousseau, Tolstoi's rebellion was
(C) As Rousseau, Tolstoi rebelled
(D) As did Rousseau, Tolstoi's rebellion was
(E) Tolstoi's rebellion, as Rousseau's, was

OG: inserting did after As would make C grammatical.

My question: why it is not "As Rousseau did" but "As did Rousseau" ?

"As..." 在句首要倒装？

As在比较时,后面跟句子. 可倒装,可不到装.
