我选的是C,但是答案是B
我没懂为什么不能用by using? 还有，是因为原文用定语从句修饰campain，所以in convincing做状语修饰前句改变了原文意思，所以不能选么?

using Web sites, public meetings, and also mass mailings
是用来修饰CAMPAIN 相当于CAMPAIN的同位语当然不需要介词
如果把2个“-”去掉，就可以加上BY
至于后面说的
GMAT考试倾向于使用that从句而不是介词短语的形式。THAT从句简洁流畅

推楼上的解答。我也觉得using Web sites, public meetings, and also mass mailings 就是指grassroot campaign 本身了，而by一般后面接续的是方式，这里是同位语。

另外我觉得in convincing也不是很通顺，如果是我写这个句子，大概倾向于用to convice，来表示一个目的。

谢谢啦prep的解释上说 “By using逻辑含义上不等于using，其表达的是因为通过那三个方式草根运动才是成功的，这个含义不对"我在琢磨琢磨吧
