我想申请06年入学，想请教各位如何定位包装
背景：97-01国内一般大学本科学位，国贸专业，成绩一般
毕业后在国内一澳洲驻华办事处任职，做市场开发及咨询。 03年底赴美探亲到现在

我想申请06年入学，金融或市场专业，不知该如何包装，另外如何解释03年至今不工作？我想学金融，因为的确对这方面感兴趣。但工作上没有做金融的背景。请高手指点!

When you apply MBA program, you don't have to claim your finance concentration. So, you lack of financial background doesn't hurt you.

thank you very much, but i want to study M.S. Finance rather than M.B.A., so maybe the financial background is still a problem. would you give me some suggestion or advice?
By the way, is it possible to apply in Nov. or Dec. so that i can get into school in 04?

Of course you can apply in Nov and Dec. Yes, if you don't have any finance background, it's tough to get into MsF program.

You may start to study for professional designations, such as CFA and FRM, to address your weakness in financial background.Such efforts at least can help you decide whether you are really interested in finance.
