I do have some memberships and activities such asm. But Ｉnever participated a lot and never got any awards from it. Will this affect a lot on my application to the Top 10 school? Also, do you thinkm /reading, also activities?

If youm ALONE, that doesn't count as Ext activity. But, if you join amming team and compete for medal, that should count. If you lead amming team to success, that's even better.

Some common Extra activities that most applicants include are: Volunteer work (United Way, YMCA, other not-for-profit orgnizations); sports team (either a leader or actively participate); church service; other groups (like youth group very common in China).
