the number of members in club 1 is X,the number of members in club 2 is Y,is X>y?
(1)20% X is in Y ;
(2)30% Y is in X ;

Does "20% X is in Y" mean X is smaller than Y ? So " 30% Y is in X means" X is larger than Y ?

I realize now, conbine 1) and 2) : the "Jiao Ji " is 20% to X and 30% to Y, so the key is C. right?

you r right. 20%x=30%y, 都表示x和y的交集。answer is C.
