个人不太同意ls的观点，把E选项代入句子分析句子结构后我们发现整个句子中有一个宾语从句：A new study suggests that the conversational pace of everyday life may be so briskas to hamper the ability of some children for distinguishing discrete sounds and words, resulting in being unable to make sense of speech.
根据前面一个帖子最终讨论（baby姐那个讨论帖）同时根据她粘贴来的Ron对于 “，v-ing”这种结构的解释，我们认为这种逗号后跟v-ing结构的时候，v-ing短语修饰的是其紧跟的前一层从句中的成分，appeal to的subject是其前一层从句中的主语，因此按照这个观点来看，这里resulting的的主语应当是the conversational pace of everyday life 所以，这样看来，整个E选项最后的不分还是make no sense的。
