这题，用shorten修饰requirement我实在觉得牵强，所以把shortens排除了，请问，此题为何选e, d 的错误难道是前人所说from to的顺序不能颠倒吗？

1. shorten the requirement of time is logic , while we use lessen

the effect

2. in D it is illogically to compare minimum with fourteen , whereas

E compare seven days with fourteen days.
