主语为evidence动词单数排除 AB

此处support为名词句子结构是 provides (compelling support) for

for是和provides搭配的

如果support为动词的话，句子变成动词（provides）+动词（support）中间的分词spelling也不知道做什么成份更不能修饰动词

关键看support 后面的部分
D中用不定式， provide的主语是evidence，E选项有evidence提供support为了classify的意思，逻辑意思显然出了了问题
如果要选E的话要改成 provides compelling support for us to classify
provides compelling support for classifying Africa’s forest elephants and its savanna elephantsas separate species
这里区分两种象是不同品种作为一个动名词短语跟在 for的后面
表述清晰，使用合理
