The opponent of B, used it to deride his preoccupation with contemporary and in their veiw, ephemeral reality. 这句话怎么理解啊？能否帮助翻译一下？谢谢。 For what is one man that should be make much of his winters, even when they bend him like heavy snow. what does the sentence mean? I am confused.Thanks.

我认为第一句：B的反对者用它去嘲笑B以及B同时代的人的偏见，而在他们的观点中，这仅仅是一个短暂的事实。第二句：大意就是说一个人应该为他的冬天准备一些东西，即使是... 个人意见，请大家指点
