答案是A 我选成了E
看了几个讨论帖，比较倾向于把A视为省略：more (women reported) so than (did) those who retired completely
想再问问：A在句中作什么成分？

retired completely）
more...than...前后主语应平行，所以more前是woman则than后应该

是those指代women，
如果选择E，则which就近修饰marital satisfaction
比较对象变成了satisfaction和those（women），就不平行了哟~

补全应该是这样的:

more so (reported high marital satisfaction) than those (women) who retired completely did (reported high marital satisfaction)

确实你的补充更合理。那这半个句子在整句话中是什么成分（比如独立主格）啊？逻辑主语又是什么呢？

A study (主语)on couples' retirement transitions(定语,修饰a study) found (谓语)that(宾语从句) women(从句主语) who took new jobs after retiring from their primary careers(定于从句, 修饰从句主语women) reported(从句谓语) high marital satisfaction(从句宾语), more so than those who retired completely(从句状语).
