Mary's income is 60 percent more than Tim's income, and Tim's income is 40 percent less than Juan's income. What percent of Jane's income is Mary's income?
A 124%
B 120%
C 96%
D 80%
E 64%
The answer is C
My answer as follow:
If Tim's income is X
so Mary's is 1.6X while Jane's is 1.4X But I can not find the answer, where I am wrong?
又看了一遍解释, 是我理解错了, og 对的。作者: supercury 时间: 2011-11-25 20:46
T 's income is 40%less than J's income doesn't equal the expression that
J's income is 40% more than T's income.
That‘s it!

My assumption is that T’s income has yet been confirmed in this question by Mary's income.
