The 32 species that make up the dolphin family are closely related to whales and in fact include the animal knowns as the killer whale,which can grow to be 30 feet long and is famous for its aggressive hunting pods.

我想问B：include the animal known as the killer whale, growing as big as 30 feet long and
为什么不行呢，doing不能修饰killer whale吗？doing都能做什么成分呢？

先说原题逗号后的which后是修饰就近的名词killer whale
你要选B的话，逗号后的doing分词修饰的是句子主语the 32 species

不可以的哟~~SVO,ing-.这样的结构中-ing有两种情况。一种情况是修饰s，另一种情况是表示前一句话带来伴随的结果~不知道这样回答可不可以~请教各位NN们

句尾逗号后的doing一般做伴随状语——伴随动作（修饰主语和谓语）或者伴随结果（修饰整个句子），很少有修饰句尾名词的，据PREP说只有在主句的时态与doing不一致时，才会修饰句尾名词，比如说主句是完成时，句尾doing修饰主句的动作就不太恰当，因为已经完成就不存在伴随~~~~doing前没有逗号是修饰句尾名词的
