请问D,E的选项里的suggesting是什么用法？？？为什么说却谓语呢？

楼主请看：

这个句子是用‘A surge in new home sales and a drop in weekly unemployment claims’ 做主语，谓语是suggest，然后加that引导的宾语从句。

如果用动名词suggesting修饰主语，就找不到句子的谓语了，整个句子的结构就不完整了。

我想请教一下怎么在ac里面选出a呢？og关于c 的答案我很困惑。说的是

have been thought 没有主语。可是明明有啊，不是后面的by analysts吗？

  还有一个问题就是那c如果把have been 去掉，正确吗？

个人拙见。suggests that 后面的宾从是 主系表 结构，as weak as 也

是做为修饰成分修饰表语，就是be后面的some analysts，the economy

might not be (as weak as) some analysts ... 这个表语的部分用名词，

或者名词性句子。C中缺少主语，从另一个方面讲，that从句中已经有个be动

词，如果再出现have been谓语一定需要有一个并列连接词或者that/which带

出新的句子。
另外D选中也说了，there is no reason to use passive voice... 被动没

必要。
