Frazier and Mosteller assert that

a move toward larger, simpler clinical

the passage is not concerned with establishing the likelihood of any changes to the way medical research is conducted.

意思是：这篇文章不是关注医疗研究方法改变的可能性。

回到E，文章只说了F和M两人对于现行医疗研究办法改进的想法，并没说现行医疗研究办法将会按他两想的这样改。所以E不对，而D对。
