我知道C是错的，但是我觉得A也是错的。题干上说the explanation provided by the human capital theory for the high concentration of women in certain occupations就已经限定了这个theory的解释只是针对high concentration的。而OG答案说什么incomplete是对的，因为第二段在说difference in pay scales that cannot be explained所以theory是incomplete的，但这个工资差异已经和题干限制的high concentration无关了啊！所以incomplete应该是错误的！

不是。。我觉得。。你理解偏差了，题目是要求描述explanation，不是描
述那个theory，所以，incomplete说的是explanation，不是theory。
incomplete应该是说这个原因不能光用theory来解释，还有其他原因吧。所以
incomplete。我是这么理解的。不过我不是啥强人。。。至少目前不是。。希

要解释的东西是segregation of labor by gender。也就是说光用那个
theory来解释是有理由的，但是是incomplete。因为最后一段说了，那个
theory不能解释difference in pay scales ，而这个也属于segregation中的

楼主，我又对比了下，发现，其他答案错的更离谱，GMAC有个规定，就是，所有的答案都要选the best （错误最少的） 而不是 the perfect one，所以，估计在这一题就是最好的证明，A有错，但是相对于BCDE来说，它是the best one，所以选了A。也就是说，A描述的是那个theory，而作者可能对用那个theory作出的解释有类似的描述，所以选A。记住一条原则，GMAT的考试选the best one not the perfect and flawless one。楼主，希望我的解释能帮到你。哈哈作者: dearsissi 时间: 2011-9-7 20:17
