这是OG12上的第42题，答案是A，但是感觉OG的解释有点不太明白，有哪位大侠帮忙看下，为什么是A呢，谢谢

原句是a giant fungus that ……and ( ) for more than~
少了第二个that，决定了后面不能是个从句。
所以只能是分词结构。extended 或者 extending

表达fungus延伸达30英亩的意思，肯定是extending 而不是extended

不知道搂主看没看OG12的官方解释，A中说，spawned和extending一个用-ed，一个用-ing，完全是因为spawned是过去的事情，而extending是形容一直持续到现在的动作，这种从逻辑时态上的判断成立吗？
我的观点认为，spawed是被动的，所以用-ed,而extending是主动的，所以用-ing，这种理解你同意吗？
希望各位战友给评评理！

同意楼上的说法。
我也觉得OG上说用-ed是因为过去式不对，明明就是因为是被动语态！
