毕业6年半, 大学成绩78/100. 申请的时候还需要解释吗? 用什么借口呢?

Ordinary excuses:
1. Physical problem
2. Strict or crazy professors in your schools
3. Provide your rankings in the class
4. The research time ate up much of your time on study
5. Poor economic condition, you have to work during the study
6. Anything can manifest your academic ability, such as awards or some special things
7. Don't forget to tell admissions, what does A,B,C,D grade mean in your school if you have such scores of your courses. I mean, B means 85%, not 80%.
8. NEVER TELL admissions THAT YOU WERE FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE WHEN STUDYING

(Delete this point)The last 60 hours might put huge weigh on your academic performance (I believe most schools are thinking in this way). Please go to compare the last 60hs with the previous 60hs (“usually” undergraduate credits are believed to have around 125 hours in the States), and if you found there is a difference between them, then you could make a pretty good excuse. BraveMBA bro gave us some awesome reasons (ethically such action is not the good one). I think the GPA of 78/100 is lower than the 3.0, which is again relatively lower than the most school’s average. You know what I am talking about, do you?

希望你申请的不是YORK,我见过YORK的admission officer, 他们的逻辑是:正是因为你离开学校太久，你更需要证明你的academic ability. 奇怪的逻辑！

Not all the applicants actually are aware of the facts happened on them that they can explain to the admissions. All the excuses must be true. Different schools in China do have different policies of student's score. Especially for those who studied there ten years ago. At that time, the scores were messed and could not reflect the academic ability of the applicants.
