正确答案选D，我选的B，不懂为什么。。。
横线前的THAT不是修饰OTHER FOOD 吗？B中even后面补出OF不是应该更好吗？

首先纵向比较5个选项，发现CDE都是用could替代了AB中的have the

possibility，故排除AB；C中的so even with是错误的用法，排除；E中and，

in addition重复，也排除，最后就选D~

为什么COULD就把HAVE THE POSSIBILITY 好啊？

同问，今天看到PREP破解语法分析上有解释：
考点: 逻辑表达（Logical Predication）、简洁有效（Rhetorical

Construction）
1) 副词不能作连词连接句子。
2) and等连词连接的结构要平行
3) 注意情态动词和其他形容词,副词的语意重复, 如could, may和possibly,

perhaps等其他表示可
能性的词语意重复
(A) foods本身是不能拥有possibility的,因此have the possibility使用错

误，而且possibility的习惯用
法是跟of doing sth; even是副词,不能作连词
(B) 错误同A选项。
(C) so作为连词表示因此,所以的意思,改变了原意; even with的with没有可

以跟它平行的对象,with
应该去掉
(D) 正确, 句子结构简洁意思清晰
(E) could和possibly意思重复; and和in addition意思重复; for even的for

没有其他for…结构跟它平
行

但我对A的解释有疑问，为什么food就不能有possibility？even这里也不是做

连词用吧？
我觉得A错的原因是产生歧义：
1. can feed the continent, and can feed other parts of the world
2. can feed the continent, or can feed other parts of the world
