答案是B,因为有would只能选这个，但是这里的比较对吗？ personal spending 怎么能和一个比率 1.4 percent growth rate比？
personal spending 不是一个比率呀

如果是A的话，that指代Personal spending...那就变成了personal spending in the July....more than doubled personal spending of 1.4% in personal spending...重复了。。。

谢谢，确实是重复的，我一开始也这样排除了A,可是C的比较，2个确实不是一个东西啊。。这怎么解释呢

额。不好意思忽略了LZ的原始问题~~

我觉得是说八月份零售额0.8%的增长，增加了预期，这个预期的内容是第三季度的个人消费会使这个季度的个人消费增长率比上一个季度翻倍

不是个人消费自己double，是个人消费会使。。。double。。。
不知道这样有没有清楚点？

这里的double是动词，double the 1.4 percent growthrate ，所以翻译过来是使这个growthrate翻倍
