答案是D，我选的E，我总是分不清什么时候用with可以，希望牛牛们给解释一下！！！

这里不是with的问题，E主要错误是has plummeted是完成时，跟后面的last year不符
D的话用with引导两个有逻辑主语的现在分词平行结构，表达最流畅

in the last year一定要用过去时么，什么时候必须要用过去时，什么时候必须要用完成时？！

prep2-Q175确认答案D。 E因为while表示转折含义而with的独立主格结构表示原因等 而根据原文应该是表示因果关系 所以E中是加入了原文没有的转折含义 逻辑含义错误； 同时last year是明显的过去时态用法 不对
建议LZ在最后两个混淆选项上更加依靠逻辑关系而不是某个语法点进行判断
