I am also selecting E, but now think D is better.

Reason: pls notice "furthmore",which is following by "However". So these two examples are to oppose "one explanation is that.....since myrmecophagy entails a low metaboic rate and high energy expenditure....". Therefore, if locomotion of black bears is more efficient, the conclusion will be weakened.

我觉得上面是解释了D怎么对，说的很有道理
我来说说E为什么错

E：文中说Sloth Bear（SB）和Black bear（BB）的size 和home range相同，因此BB能做到的（即black bear cubs are able to keep up with their mother）SB也能做到
本选项给出了SB和BB的一个差异，就是BB的栖息地地形比SB的栖息地复杂，那么可以推断BB能做到的（即black bear cubs are able to keep up with their mother）SB更能能做到
所以E实际上是support而不是weaken

我觉得楼上讲错了

BB和SB的range之类的一样但地形更复杂所以会更消耗能量 SB不一定能做到而且假设SB能做到那么他的range应该在复杂的地形下比BB小
