这道题选C ，用排除法能做，可是so that的用法在这里用的很奇怪，大家说说看怎么回事啊，我看的很别扭

so that为什么奇怪了，正常的用法

so that引导目的状语从句，其从句中的谓语动词通常和can, may, should等情态动词连用,而且主句和从句之间不使用逗号,意为“以便，为了，使能够”。

WITH结构有别的好的最好不选

个人理解
B的with的主语可能指向they，模糊了，但是逻辑上是researcher
还一个B中的有了with，so that是做状语就要不需要so that了
还有，2个逗号中间夹着so that这个句子很别扭
