D is not correct, because 'cow' does not agree with the 'them' in the original part of the sentence.

选A的话就变成providing them with high-energy feed和milking them regularly都修饰 takes care to keep them cool了
很显然逻辑意思不合理给高能量的食物和定时挤奶并不是照料H cows的方式
这句话的正常语序
provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, Holstein cows will produce an average of 2,275 gallons of mild each per year for the farmer who takes care to keep them cool
只不过把FOR目的提到前面了~

看到ing 分词的修饰立刻看它是不是修饰前面动词

显然是E啊前面有个them啊
