A set of numbers has the property that for any number t in the set, t + 2 is in the set.If –1 is in the set, which of the following must also be in the set?
I.-3

II.1

III.5

A.I only

B.II only

C.I and II only

D.II and III only

E.I, II, and III

答案是D，为什么-3不可能是呢？如果-1在这个集合里面，-3+2=-1，说明-3也在这个集合里面呀！！
请大家帮忙解答一下！多谢啦！

题目只说了，for any number t in the set, t + 2 is in the set
并没有倒推说：for any number t+2 in the set, t is in the set。所以-1在这个集合，不能推出-3在这个集合。

是的，不能推出-3在该集合

这道题目在OG里面也有的，好像是在OG的数学分册里面。
其实题目想表达的意思是可以向后推，而不是可以向前推。-1在里面，所以1在里面，然后就推出了数列-1、1、3、5-----。
而不是通过1在里面而向前推出数列。
